ABOUT ME

Linore has been blessed and afflicted by her imagination all her life.   At age nine she attempted her first novel after reading My Side of the Mountain, by Jean George. Poems and short stories during adolescence followed until, after college and marriage, she returned to writing novels.

 

Her first book, Before the Season Ends, was written because she couldn't find a book like it--a genuine Regency in the style of Georgette Heyer but with an Inspirational twist. She wrote it while toddlers crawled across her lap or in the evenings when her husband watched the kids.  Harvest House published that book and with it opened the genre of Inspirational Regency romance for the CBA!

 

Her next two books with Harvest House completed the "Regency Trilogy," (which Linore still thinks of as the Forsythe Trilogy, after Ariana Forsythe, the strong-willed but loveable heroine of the series).  The Brides of Mayfair Series, a second Regency trilogy followed, as well as The Pulse Effex Series,  a YA suspense trilogy. She also writes small-town contemporary romance, contemporary romantic suspense, and a new Christmas Inspirational Series, An Aspen Creek Christmas. 

Linore is a mom of five, President of Dayton Christian Scribes, a Regional Coordinator for CAN, (Christian Authors Network), and recently finished homeschooling after more than 25 years of being a homeschool mom. She is  active in Middletown Area (Christian) Writers and Sovereign Grace Church; and loves to read, cook, swim,  hike with her husband, and paint.
